Continued my efforts last weekend of working out Blender workflows for the abstract styles I used to make in c4D. 1st up my "oldschool" style that I have been doing some variation of for a long time. Anyway here it is, Breaking of the World (I may be reading the Wheel of Time series at the moment, so far its rereading, I think I got to book 8 or 9 when I was a teenager). Making of So what is the making of this week? Its not so complicated, the first step was creating a grid cloner set-up in Blender's Geometry Nodes. It was actually pretty straightforward with a couple of youtube videos to help me get started, no idea why it has taken so long. Set the source to be a Collection and added some random displacement/rotation/scale controls and I essentially have C4d's Cloner object. I then took a Kitbash3D kitpack, broke a couple of the buildings in it down into different parts and put them into the collection.
