blaugust 2026

happy blaugust everyone! I am excited for this month. I have high hopes of coming back to blogging again. I'm also realistic in that I know that I might well just fall off the blogging wagon again, but I'm hoping that a challenge/event will make things a little bit different. It seems silly - I've been sitting here looking forward to Blaugust, excited for all the blog posts I'm going to write, writing down titles and ideas... but why wait until August for that? Why not just post? I suppose my brain just works well with some sort of challenge. Maybe in the same way that I've done the bulk of my writing during nanowrimo and struggle to maintain it the rest of the year. Something about a monthly challenge and my focus. In a similar vein of wanting to blog more and challenges, I've decided that this post marks the begging of 100 Days to Offload. A challenge to post 100 blog posts over the course of 365 days.
