Things I’ve donePut up an arch and gate into the big garden. It looks lovely and makes access easier. The landlady gave positive comments on it - she walks past with her dog every day. Also tidied up the edge of the driveway a bit more, it’s amazing how years of overgrowth had encroached on it. Had some lovely days eating out and seeing friends. I’ve got lots of pretty plants ready to go into the flowerbeds at the front of the house now. Enjoyed the village fete. A very quaint affair, but lovely atmosphere and it’s kind of nice being not too busy. I didn’t get any photos myself, but another visitor snapped a picture of the cake table and there was me ogling it! Youngest’s sports day was postponed to late June. I went with eldest who unfortunately had a panic attack and struggled to sit through it, plus youngest didn’t actually participate in any events. So that was a bit of a bust.
