A Few Linux Utilities

After having daily driven Linux on my gaming desktop for a few years now I’ve found a handful of utility programs that have been useful to me that I feel may not be talked about very much. Nothing fancy or flashy here, just some solid programs that I use in my typical day-to-day routine. Easy Effects System wide audio effects software with a variety of plugins including a parametric equalizer with AutoEQ support as well as basic functions such as Crosstalk, Bass Loudness and Enhancers. Also works on microphones and other inputs and has deesser, noise removal, compressors, and just about anything else you could want. Recently had a UI overhaul which has made it more intuitive and much easier to use. CoolerControl Temperature monitoring and thermal stress testing with support for different profiles and alerts. Has a new plugin functionality that isn’t used too much yet as it’s still in beta. Also has some system fan control support, tho I use it primarily for temperature monitoring.…
