Blaugust 2026 It’s August already! The month of Blaugust starts again. I’ve been debating a bit if I would join again or not this year—just like last year. But before I get into that, Blaugust is a month-long event that takes place each August which focuses on blogging primarily (…) The goal is to stoke the fires of creativity and allow bloggers and other content creators to mingle in a shared community while pushing each other to post more regularly. 1 While I don’t feel inclined to set any hard, quantitative targets for myself, I did enjoy participating last year. Not so much to push myself: if I feel that something needs to be written, I’ll have to get it out at some point regardless; if I don’t have the words at a given moment in time, there’s no use in trying to force the issue (for me personally). On the other hand, Blaugust 2025 did inspire me to write more: it mainly nudged me to finish drafts and ideas that I had already started working on at some point previously. And most…
