No New Art This Month

It’s the last day of July and it’ll be the first month this year where I won’t be posting any new artwork, because I haven’t been able to finish anything. And that’s… fine?I try my best to finish at least one new piece every month. Emphasis on try. And for the most part that’s something I’m able to accomplish. But with a full-time job, a family, a house to take care of and other hobbies that I also want to spend a little bit of time on… well. You know who it goes. This month I “failed” to get any new art done and I’m surprisingly ok with it.One thing that is a little annoying is that I’m very close to wrapping up the piece I’m currently working on, but it’s not quite ready just yet. It’s looking quite good in my opinion, and it’s probably the best thing I’ve done so far this year, so I want to make sure it’s properly done (as far as such a thing is possible) before I post it.Maybe I’ll be able to have it done before the weekend is over, but we’ll see. Maybe it’ll take a little longer.
