In a few weeks, a new movie based on Warner Brothers Animation at least briefly hits the theaters.While well aware that Warner Bros. Animation stalwarts Chuck Jones, Mike Maltese and animators Lloyd Vaughan, Ken Harris, Phil Monroe and Ben Washam are long gone, nonetheless, this looks pretty darn good.Also involved in this Road Runner - Wile E Coyote opus: one of our favorite current comedians and comic actors - Will Forte. MacGruber is one of this blogger's favorite recurring Saturday Night Live sketches.Will's gonzo performance in the Fly High Duluth sketch is a personal favorite and the ultimate statement on bad bands, enhanced by Fred Armisen as the group's animated and overenthusiastic drummer. Love the fact that both host Scarlett Johansson and the entire SNL cast are involved. When everyday life, annoyances of old age and lousy 2026 get us feeling down, a fantastic way to get to that better place involves both Warner Bros. cartoons from 1935-1955 and always gloriously unhinged…
