This past month, my informal experiment had been to walk at least 10 min/day, ideally outdoors. Yes, it probably was a very low bar. But committing to this, even if only to myself, made me more conscious of my level of physical activity in a day. I believe I walked more than this amount on most days — even on work-from-home days which can otherwise be very sedentary. So, overall a success, and something to keep up. July coming to an end means time for an experiment for this new month. For the month of August, I am going to write down 1 win a day. I got this idea from author Dan Pink, who records 3 wins at the end of each day so that he feel a sense of progress and keep the momentum going. As I already write in my gratitude journal, another 3 points seemed like too much. So 1 will do.
