You Cannot Buy Your Way into Cool

I have a friend who was a pretty prolific guitar teacher. And he used to go to this super-rich guy’s house to teach him lessons. This guy was so rich (how rich is he?) that said friend actually had to go through a service door. Like, there was a different door for people who were coming to the house to work. LOLs. Then he would go into this room filled with super-expensive guitars, but in my friend’s words, not awesome expensive guitars. They were not cool, but stupid-expensive. And some backstory: I know the rich guy. I grew up with him. He used to ride my bus, and when none of the other older kids (who'd did not love him) were there, he would bully the kids. He had a real mean streak-not trying to be funny. Just an unfriendly d*ck. I got my revenge later when I inadvertently became close with a couple of sisters, one of whom was clearly the love of his life (whom he never got.) Still super-friendly with both of them.
