The Psychedelic Sound “Sorry Baby – Goodbye” / “Stars Cease to Shine” on Sunny-Side

The Daily Freeman reported on January 22, 1968 that the Psychedelic Sound would take part in the annual March of Dimes benefit show Jan. 28 at municipal auditorium. They recently cut two successful platters, Sorry Baby – Goodbye and Stars Cease to Shine. The Psychedelic Sound were one of the bands who recorded at Earl Kennett’s studio in Stuyvesant, New York. The band released two original songs, “Sorry Baby – Goodbye” / “Stars Cease to Shine” on Sunny-Side Records 0014, Sunnyside being the name of the Kennett family’s horse farm where the studio was located. Members included: Linda Rizzi – vocals Tina Bauer – drums Jim Schelley – guitar Ronnie Amato – vocals and keyboards(?)
