No harm done

You might have seen some posts lately where my name has popped up. It started with Scholarch replying to my Blank blogging counts too post, and then a reply by me. End of story in my book. Let's move on. But the story continued... Even though the continuation has been more about moderation and "meta blogging" in general, rather than me personally, I felt like writing something after having read Scholarch's post Healthy Discourse. He writes: I also feel responsible for Robert's response in which he supposes he is trash. [...] So, to Robert, for what it's worth: as much as I take issue with the quality of your writing, I don't know you enough to comment on the quality of your character, and I'm sorry that my words affected you negatively. Thank you so much, that's very kind and thoughtful of you. Please don't feel responsible in any way. I don't feel hurt or sad. No harm done, honestly. Sure, I prefer reading texts by people who say they feel encouraged and motivated by my posts. But…
