Day 167: Thistle Fiber

2026-07-23Hello! Today, I'm determined to write a short article, for real this time.Here's a weird plant. I don't know what it is, but basic internet research tells me it's some sort of thistle plant, like a dandelion.I didn't touch it — I kept my distance, thank you very much. If I can inhale mushroom spores without realizing it, I can inhale this thistle pappus (the feathery bit on the end) and get weird lungs. Best not to.Readers might notice the past few photos have been taken on the same day, all in the woods and parks outside. I edited all the photos as monochrome. With the exception of one, they're all dark images.This is the last from the monochrome series for now. Time for some street photography. Thank you for visiting this blog!
