Moon's Haunted. Last night while I was taking out the trash, I was greeted by this view from my front door. Like, opened the door and there was the moon, peeking through cloud and tree . Honestly, this is great by itself but the 150mm and exposure doesn't really do it justice, so I grabbed my other camera and popped on the 70mm: Brightening it up and widening the frame gives it a truer (but still not the IRL) experience with the tree framing and the clouds. Like, I half expected a wolf howl, it was that kind of vibe and I gotta admit, kinda unearned for a Tuesday, you know? Anyway, a lot of being a photographer is trying to balance "you had to be there" with "but what if you were?" and this falls more in the middle. Can't win em all.
