hemerocallis When I saw today’s weather report saying thunderstorms for this afternoon, and high humidity (no kidding) I thought, if I want to get to the botanical gardens I should do it first thing. So that’s what I did, straight after breakfast and just long enough to slurp down a cup of tea, I grabbed my bag and headed out. Today’s objective? To take photos in both the annuals garden section, and see what was growing in the edibles garden. I love that there are so many different sections of gardens here, including the arbour and tree walk, the lily pond and waterfall, a mini nature trail, and as I said, several small test gardens. So what did I find in the annuals garden? Lots. First the ‘Crowning Glories‘. Up next … maybe I should call this bunch ‘Bee Specific‘. And yes, there were a lot of bees. So many glorious colours of flower.
