Wednesday Thoughts 16

I feel creatively bankrupt at the moment; when this happens I try turning to a general "thoughts" post to get some ideas out. These thoughts started on a Tuesday but spilled over to Wednesday. Work, etc. ¶ Several years ago (I don't remember when) my wife gifted me an iPod Touch, 7th generation—the last generation. For a while it was running up-to-date iOS alongside the current iPhone lineup but it's been stuck in the past, on iOS 151. Many of the apps can no longer receive updates and there are many more I can't even install to begin with. Still, it's a reliable device. I can load my music onto it from my MacBook, stream podcasts, radio stations, and Spotify. Despite the device being thinner than I'd like, it also looks good. The dark grey back looks great when I have it face down on my desk. That's why I was very happy to discover there is a reddit community devoted to all the different interations of the device. I'd like to jailbreak my device but I haven't been able to figure out…
