Following on from my previous movie summaries, this is my June 2026 review. Overall, I watched 33 new movies this month, taking the total for the year to 182! Watched 33 Hours 57 Average Rating 6.7 Highest Rated 10 The Apartment A Manhattan insurance clerk tries to rise in his company by letting its executives use his apartment for trysts, but office politics and his own romantic hopes complicate matters. Sovereign A father and son who identify as Sovereign Citizens, a group of anti-government extremists, find themselves in a standoff with a chief of police that sets off a manhunt. The Light of the Moon After a New York City woman is sexually assaulted while walking home one evening, she struggles to accept the truth and rediscover the intimacy within her relationship. The Apartment (10/10) was on my watchlist for a while, and I decided to watch it as part of other "classics" I had planned. I was absolutely stunned.
