Day 166: Car Front Grille

2026-07-22Hello! I keep hoping I'll write a short article, and then it balloons in word count.I photographed the car's front grille and the Mazda logo. It's dark and monochrome, as most of my recent images seem to be.While I don't think anything can beat the interior detail photography of the Porsche model car, this one isn't too bad.This car was customized to all hell. I wanted to capture the entire vehicle in one image, but I would have revealed the car owner's phone number printed on the side. That's a step too far for me, so I have to pick the most boring part that doesn't reveal any personal information. At least they polish their car!I have so many images to sort through. I want a variety of subjects and compositions to fill the dpanphoto website homepage, where no two images are alike.
