Father of synthwave Kavinsky dead at 50

FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS: French DJ ​and electropop ‌musician Kavinsky found dead aged 50. Sometimes known as the “father of synthwave”, his track “Nightcall” played over the opening credits of Ryan Gosling’s 2010 Drive, and was performed at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
