My 2026 Birthday

28 July 2026 marked my 34th birthday. Being the birthday person did not mean I did not need to do chores when it was necessary. In the morning, I did the laundry. Near afternoon, I went our with my parents. Days ago, we were informed by the developer of our new house that we would not be able to receive the key to our new house in July as originally expected, so my parents took the opportunity of going out on my birthday to visit the developer of our new house. Fortunately, it turned out that the developer would reimburse us for the delay. Furthermore, while the construction of our new house was not complete yet, it was close to being done enough that we could enter our new house to check it out, though my room was locked at the moment. We went to lunch, with me enjoying fried kway teow, then visited a bakery shop to buy my birthday cake. For this year in 2026, I chose a chocolate mousse cake as my birthday cake.
