Library Loot: July 29 to August 4

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. To Lie with Lions by Dorothy Dunnett – the library got my hopes up at the beginning of June by showing that this was in transit to me. Usually, that means two or three days for it to reach my branch and be ready for pick up. So I waited. And waited. And waited. After the first three weeks, I mentioned it to one of the staff at my branch. And then I checked in again another couple of weeks later.
