Kerr Stuart Sirdar locomotives

I have received a 009 Society Kerr Stuart Sirdar, a new 009 narrow Gauge loco produced by Rapido Trains UK. The next day I received a package with two more from elsewhere. I had pre-ordered one when they were initially announced, then the 009 Society Exclusive version was announced and then I also received one as a gift. The 009 Society locomotive is a "What If" as it has a short tank which were available but I don't think any Sirdars were built with the short tanks. The other two are the long tank variants with Diana - the Sirdar that was restored around 2015 - in its original grey and its distinctive half cab, and another long tank Sirdar in maroon with gold lining making up the three models. All three have the half cab which should show off the crew when I get some from Modelu who make crews especially for this model. There is a full front cab version as available as well but I really liked this version. The cab interior is exquisitely detailed and the overall finish quite superb.…
