It’s been “don’t take the camera because it’s tempting to stay out too long” and “cook dinner at breakfast so you don’t have to heat up the house later” hot here. Fortunately, those “feels like” temperatures are supposed to drop back from 110-120 F to the mid-90s. Whew. I have no idea how my European friends managed this without AC!Here are my photo choices for today:At least the cloud monster is smiling.Not quite in focus, but I learned something from these beautiful wings - this might be a prince baskettail dragonfly! That’s a name I had never come across in identifying dragonflies before, possibly because I’ve never seen one perched.I agree, young bluebird, it IS too hot!Pretending to sleep, but still on guard.
