You Would Have Thought By Now...

Just an observation I made as I was sitting in my vehicle watching people scramble around in the rain a couple of weeks ago.-The umbrella was invented in China in the 11th Century B.C. (silk, wax and a bamboo frame)-The automobile was invented in 1886.-I'm pretty sure rain was invented before either.Yet, when it is raining and one uses an umbrella to keep dry (and I’m guessing that is why one would primarily use a waterproof shade over ones’ body), the premise completely falls apart when trying to enter one's vehicle.You would have thought by now someone would have invented a way to accomplish this but remain dry!Trying to get in and but you have to close the umbrella.Ooops!
