Late afternoon I sat outside with a pot of tea and a welsh cake watching butterflies and bees on the knapweed. Up early on Wednesday to drive over to Northants to spend a few days with HW – Hazel and PR came too. Lot of chat. Very hot still. A morning out at Castle Ashby on Thursday strolling around the gardens and lunching at the cafe before meeting up with LM in Harrold County Park for a couple of hours in the afternoon.
