2026/07/28 Tuesday Fuck, I have shit tons of media to log since my last entry... I have to plan it better... I watched a lot of crap, I also watched awful crap I love, and some genuinely good stuff too, so this was a good run. I finished watching The Man Who Fell to Earth (2022), it's a sequel to the '70s David Bowie movie, which is quite interesting but very uneven, I mean, it gets pretty boring at times, but it's an ok movie, and I can say the same about the series... I wonder if they didn't pitch it as a movie but they didn't have the budget to hire movie-level headliner actors and decided to dilute it into a series... I wonder how many series are created like that, because they feel like they have more runtime than content to fill it with... but it was interesting, not bad - it was supposed to have a second season and I'm so glad it didn't, I could already see the whole story, the first season our hero spent all of it like "humans, y u no drones?" and then next he would be like…
