Heat, Humidity, and a Hasty Hell No!

Today’s extreme heat warning says there’s dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 117 degrees 🔥 As for the humidity?!… to say it’s very humid is an understatement. Nikki lives in south Florida and even her weather isn’t this hot. It’s like Mother Nature decided to blend Arizona level heat with south Florida summer humidity and toss it into northern Illinois… just to see what happens. I planned on getting some errands taken care of today but that idea was met with a hasty “Hell no!”. I’m not going outside and subjecting my body… or my sanity… to that kind of torture.
