The ‘main manor numbers’ were used from 1686 onwards. This table is an interim attempt to attach modern-day addresses to these manor numbers, and arrange them in street number order. This means that at the beginning of the table, the modern entries are blank, because their modern identity has not been identified. If streets are numbered with odd numbers on one side and evens on the other, the odds are given first. This table was derived from another one which is sorted into manor numbers. Places outside Witham have ZZZ in front of the address for sorting purposes, so will be found at the end of the list.
