The Book of Temples Chapter 26 0 ▲ Keeper of Lore 1 hour ago · Writing · hide · 0 comments Haven of Trinkets, Wielder of Arms and Delver of Gems as dragons took flight from the ledge where sat the main door that led into the temple. Glory and Ruin’s People also left from the same door but on foot. By air and by land eastward they all went down the side of the mountain. Each day they traversed, approaching the hills, at night they camped with dragons. By fireside at night the dragons told tales of what they saw from the sky. By day the People followed a river born from the Only Mountain. They walked as it ran and rested their feet in the cool water at night. The river journeyed eastward to a wood that soon became a forest. The river flowed on piercing the forest the People entered in kind. Explorers enjoyed their time with the trees such plant life they had not known. The forest was home to many creatures strange and new to the People.
