I feel like I’m bitching a lot about my kids and while I sometimes neeeeed to get this off my chest, I do love both of them dearly. I’ve already described one key moment that I had with my older son1, but I’ve been missing something similar with my little one. There are tons of memorable moments, but nothing that stuck out to me … until the weekend before last. We were on a playground, next to a little fireplace where a large group was celebrating a kids’ birthday party. They were playing kids songs, grilling sausages on the fire and had tons of balloons put up. One of those balloons loosened in the strong wind and bounced away. When my little one saw that, he immediately rushed after it, trying to catch it. Whenever he came close enough to bend down and grab it, another gust of wind would come up and push it further away. I could see that he was getting frustrated, but he was determined to catch it and return it to the party. I lost track of him for a few seconds, but when he…
