I purchased this small plaster Buddha way back sometime in 1985-ish. It has sat watching over me since then. Through my time living in two nurses residence, multiple rental properties, and eventually my current home. It has sat serenely on bookcases, in a box, upside down in the back of a closet, in a shed, on the dashboard of a panel van, and now on a shelf that looks out over my kitchen. It has been forgotten, remembered, ignored, almost thrown out, rescued, and slowly appreciated as one of those small ‘insignificant’ objects that, over time, are imbued with the quality of precious. –ooOoo– Question: can you think of an insignificant object that is illogically precious to you? Take a second to tell me about it in the comments. Just a quick reminder that I have re-set my email digest members list.
