Hudson Yards, Framed – New York, New York After playing briefly with the Leica M Monochrom, I’m back to the Leica D-Lux 8, a much easier camera to use. The M Monochrom is a slow, deliberate camera when I’m enjoying the craft of photography. For quick tourist photos, the D-Lux 8 shines. I’m now at one of my favorite places in New York, the High Line, a 1.5-mile-long linear park built on old train tracks located in lower Manhattan. I’ve been here before and even blogged about it; however, this was my wife’s first visit. We started at Chelsea Market, where I used an old building to frame the distant towers of the Hudson Yards development. That was our destination, and we decided to take the scenic and pleasant route there. The park also offers great photographic opportunities.
