Day 163: Bowl of Branches

For those just viewing on the internet: I managed to leak the entire publishing template of this newsletter to email subscribers, and I just have to deal with that circulating around now...Anyway! This is another monochrome image with swatches of dark gray across the image. Bits of sunlight in the background shine brighter than the shaded tree in the foreground.I've been having fun with monochrome photography ever since I saw the works of Adrian Vila, who makes great high-key monochrome photography in square format. Skies haven't been great for bright whites these days, but I'll save that bag of tricks for a future day.I'm setting up for some photography in a small town's Main Street, and I'm hoping to capture street photography there without revealing where I've been.
