The Wailing

The bumbling cop kept taking me out of any slowly building suspense. If you want me to be afraid of a zombie, then they need to actually zom-bite. There write some good bites, but they always lost their tooth when sloppily slashing at the main character. My favorite scene was at the end, trying to convince him to stay to save his family. Truly good tension built and it had a good payoff. But not enough to offset the unevenness of the bumbler-suspense.
