Here’s the thing: iOS app development (and Mac, but to a lesser extent) is just constant churn. I thought I was getting a year off this year! But nope. There’s always something. Combined with the fact that most of iOS developers also really care about situations like this, the churn is very real. Earlier, Apple used to justify these kind of breaking changes - just sharing that thinking - goes a long way changing it from a churn to being part of a better future. =
