Walter Hagen, 1956, The Walter Hagen Story I recently drove from Nova Scotia to Ontario and back, a trip I’ve been making for three decades, though for the first half of that time the trip started in Ontario. As usual, I found new things to explore along the way. Berlin Wall Just an hour out of Halifax, I detoured into Truro (beyond my usual Irving and McDonald’s stops) to check out some pieces of the Berlin Wall on the Dalhousie campus. Sections of the Berlin Wall are all over the world, displayed in various ways. These pieces are outside, tucked behind campus buildings, alongside the Cobequid Trail, which here is also part of the Trans-Canada Trail. (However, if you follow either of those trail maps, you’ll miss the wall sections as you stroll along College Rd.
