In fact I’ve been quite critical of cocaine usage in the workplace, particularly for those of us who work in highly-regulated industries, using commercial-in-confidence data, and especially when that data can have very serious consequences for people’s health. Despite the relentless enthusiasm emanating from the tech sector about the potential productivity gains from using cocaine at work, I remain cautious. There are risks involved, and in my industry we are not merely morally obligated to mitigate these risks, we are legally obligated to do so as well.
