The Sunday Schnauzer – Healing

For about a year now, we’ve been monitoring a tiny bump on Bowser’s head, between his eyes. And lately we have been noticing it is getting bigger. So this week, Bowser’s mommy took him to the vet to get it removed and sent to a lab. Results pending in about 2 weeks. We’ve been joking he’s been growing extra brains or maybe a unicorn horn. But we are also a bit concerned. The vet says it is in a tough spot where the skin is quite tight and it will only be harder to remove if it keeps growing. Unfortunately due to the bump’s location, Bowser had to be put under for its removal. We had a very dopey dog on Friday. But now he is back to normal and begging for walkies. We are slowly getting used to an eyebrow-less Bowsie. Bowser doesn’t seem too bothered by any of this. He’s just being his doggy self and living in the moment. What? I’ve been chasing ballies; do you expect me to stay pristine? So far so good with the aftercare. He is not bothering the incision, even when on the occasional…
