Mistakes were made

Woodworking is rife with clichés (“measure twice, cut once”). I’ve heard these more than once: Your IQ drops 50 points when the glue bottle is open. The mark of a craftsman is how they recover from a mistake. Here’s a little story that involves both of these. As you may recall, I recently glued the garboard planks to the keelson. Turns out I made a mistake, and one of the planks didn’t fully seat on a bulkhead (specifically, the last bulkhead before the transom).
