Perfumed with gasoline, leather, tobacco, and sweat, the Biker haunts the highways at the edges of Saint Tenebrae. Speed defines him: movement, action, and amphetamines. The Biker charges recklessly toward what he wants to confront, waving a tire iron like a saber. When he wants to run he is already long gone. Nightfall carries him on a four-stroke engines to the fringes, where he congregates in packs with his boys to share a fantasy of wildness and freedom. In this way, he is a werewolf. The Biker is not Lost, though he believes himself to be, and is thus eligible as the gang's second contact. His free-wheeling life is already subterranean to the daylit world of ordinary people, which makes him delusional skeptical that the supernatural one inhabited by the Lost Girls could exist.
