A visit to the zoo

Today, my husband and I went to the zoo in Amsterdam, and I took my trusty Campsnap Pro with me. I love this little camera and its perfectly imperfect pictures so much. This is a selection of the pictures I took today. Most of them were taken at the newly opened aquarium, after years of restauration. It was so great and I took so many bad bad bad pictures, but some came out nice. a spoonbill, hunting :) I don't know the name of this fish, but it is pretty a very grumpy fish a shark and a large flatfish a stingray a cuttlefish (never saw one before, and I couldn't stop watching them move through the water) two penguins on the nest penguins and paperazzi a stork two relaxing ostriches a sea lion giraffes And finally, elephants! this elephant and I made eye contact, so beautiful! the park looks so festive! I love these lamp posts.
