Writing a joke with AI

I was writing a joke for a Town Square post. I knew what the joke was. I knew the angle and the feeling I wanted it to land with. I just did not have the exact words yet. So I used AI to help me find them, and then I started asking myself if that was fair. If it was cheating. If I was just being lazy. But it does not feel that different from using a dictionary or looking for a synonym. The intention was still mine. The vision was still mine. And it still took me a few tries before the joke felt right. It was not slop. I was still writing. I was just not writing alone. Maybe that is what some of this will be. Not replacement. Just assistance.
