We are making great progress with our wedding preparations. It can feel a bit all-consuming at times - between venues, outfits, music and everything in between. The next stop on our preparation journey was to Silverworks on George's Street. Here, we participated in the Wedding Ring workshop where we got to forge our own rings for the big day. Silverworks is in a narrow little building with way too many flights of stairs for a hot day but once you get into the workshop area itself you have plenty of space with the huge tables to work on. The wedding workshop is only for small groups, so you work alongside 3 other couples at most which is really nice. It was lovely getting to sit with a group of people all excited to get married and talking about the different approaches they are all taking to this adventure. One of the ladies had been given a ribbon of gold from her mother to use and that couple were eloping to Italy for their big day. Another couple were just having a meal with close…
