Roland at Leica 0 ▲ atmtx photo blog 32 minutes ago · Art · hide · 0 comments Roland at Leica – New York, New York This is Roland Ling. He works at the Leica Store Meatpacking, aka Leica Store New York, and this is the second time I met him. I was taking pictures inside the Leica Store with the Leica M 246 and asked him for a portrait. He was more than happy to oblige. I know I was using a 50mm lens, the old f/2 Summicron for 1970, but the EXIF data is iffy. The M camera doesn’t know that aperture I was using. It says f/4, but it seems shallower than that. I’ve been buying my Leicas from a few different outlets, but I purchased my Leica D-Lux 8 and Sorfort 2 from Roland. I wouldn’t say he’s my personal Leica sales representative, but it’s nice to know someone at the store. Nothing like putting a name to a face.
