There’s still one week left in July, but it’s been a relatively quiet month for me on the blog; I’ve written very few articles. Why? Because…change. I’ve been offline more — trying to be. And I’m handwriting posts-in-draft. That’s very different. It’s slower, less efficient. Yet I prefer it because it helps me be more intentional, helps me think. And I actually like the process. The gel ink is purple. Hence the purple text on the blog. As Leuchtturm1917 says, “Denken mit der hand.“ All that being said, I’ve got a good pile of blog post ideas, written down in gel ink in my handy-dandy notebook. I’d like to get around to writing a few. Meanwhile, I’m posting more “micro” blogs, like a photo or a quick blurb. That’s a bit weird because its like social-media, which I don’t otherwise have or do. Side-note: Although I deleted all my social-media, I realized I still use my Goodreads account.
