The three cornered container

In reply to The three cornered container by Chris Corrigan What stands out to me reading this, is that I feel I have an intrinsic preference for the emergent area of the triad. And can quickly loose interest towards the design corner, and specifically the built parts. While I see others flock to those other types of containers exclusively because it provides them with something to hold on to, to declare something must be just so. When blogs went from emerging conversations across previous boundaries to becoming a marketing instrument for established concerns and how social software became ‘the socials’ in the communication ‘mix’, that sort of thing. And my disappointment about the reductive aspects of that, because it then usually completely ignores the emergent. While recognising that it indeed takes all three in concert, I could easily look down on the built and also the designed, as if that if we were really aware we wouldn’t be needing it, or design and construction would emerge…
