Day 161: Tiles of Architecture

2026-07-17Hello!I walked a long time without finding interesting photos. Even when the scenery isn't too familiar, the usual shots feel too typical and not worth my time writing an article on this website.In cases of limited inspiration, I turn to the Wikimedia Commons gallery map. I don't know its actual name.I looked around the area for photos tagged with location, and found this neuroscience hall tagged with location information a mere fifteen minutes away.I walked over and, sure enough, the hall was still there. I took a picture with the wall taking up the entire frame, and took out the already limited color. I wish I could capture a seamless pattern of metal and glass tiles on the side of this building, but the lights are turned on in one room, ruining the otherwise endless grid of lines. Oh well.I looked back at the trail I had trekked that day, and while there were some great photo opportunities on the gallery map, it wasn't worth going back up the hill.I put my camera in my…
