Take Cover 0 ▲ Ben Oliver 3 hours ago · Life · hide · 0 comments "Are you telling me you've got a crystal ball?" A sniper (Scott Adkins) gets pinned down in a wall-to-ceiling glass penthouse. He’s got his sidekick with him (Jack Parr), and his asassin boss on the phone (Alice Eve) to help him out. As far as low budget action fare goes, this could have been worse. The premise isn’t too bad and just about gets you interested enough to see how it’s going to end. You’ve got some well staged fighting, and some pretty dull shooting and hiding. I don’t know if Adkins decided to do an American accent later on in the film but sometimes he’s just full midlands. I think it’s supposed to be in several locations, there is a private jet and a military plane. The penthouse is supposed to be in Germany, but it’s clear they never really left England and I don’t know why they are pretending otherwise. Alice Eve is sat in a chair the whole time on the phone. She has to do one scene at the end in an airport, that’s it. You don’t even see her face until the last five… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
