(click to enlarge)This morning I was on my way home after doctor's appointment. As I passed by a local community flower garden, I spontaneously decided to stop and see what was blooming. I'm glad I did. When I left the house for the doctor's office, I had grabbed my small Fujifilm X-E5 kit which contains the 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 lens, the 14mm f/2.8 lens and the TTArtisans 75mm f/2 lens. I took the kit just in case I encountered anything worth photographing. I almost never leave the house with a camera of some sort.The past three days have been full of rain and thunderstorms, but they seemed to have largely subsided this morning. The garden is outdoors. About an acre. It was heavily overcast and in-between the remaining sporadic rain showers. I've been cooped up indoors most of that time. It felt good to get out and exercise my shutter finger.I just wandered around the garden looking at the flowers, watching the bees go from blossom to blossom pollinating. Very casual. Very relaxed.
