Revenge On Gold Diggers tackles China’s gold digger industry, women who entrap men and steal their money. That’s not me saying that, that’s the game/interactive movie saying that, and it even started an online firestorm over it when it originally released in China last year. It starts with a montage setting the scene. Then the interactive movie starts proper. You follow Wu Yulun, a suave, successful man in the fashion industry, who seeks revenge on the titular gold diggers, in this case, a ring of gold diggers. Taking Revenge on Gold Diggers! Revenge on Gold Diggers, as I said, is an interactive movie, with nearly 8 hours of footage. At certain points, you have choices, and these choices will raise or lower obsession level of the woman Yulun is interacting with. The obsession level will control what paths you can take. And these paths will drive you to one of thirty-eight endings. There are seven chapters, obviously there’s an optimal path the game wants you to go to see all seven…
