Now for 23rd July 2026

What have I been upto? Work has gotten a bit quieter since the last time I wrote. Managed to get back on top of the mountain and one of the builds had gone live, which was nice. I’ve got a few things to chase up, and sort, but with just over 24 hours before I go on holiday (more on that later), I think that I leave with things in a relatively good place. Cricket has continued, and it’s more of the same. As part of the big bash tournament I scored a duck, but for the midweek game I managed to scrape to two. However the bowling is becoming my strong point again. I was not the most economical in the figures – in fact yesterday I was the worst – but looking again at the figures – short of a misfield I’d have been under 10 an over (which is very good at our level). Maybe I should spend a bit more time focusing on my bowling, as my batting has been terrible. I also spent a lovely couple of hours at Rivington Brewery, which was beautiful.
